Accessibility at InStage

Our commitment

InStage exists to reach every student — not just the ones who find their way to the right office. That same principle applies to how the platform itself is built. We are committed to making our website and platform usable by as many people as possible, including students and staff who rely on assistive technology.

We design toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and review our platform against them on an ongoing basis. Voice-first interaction is central to our product, and we work to ensure core flows remain operable through multiple channels — including web calls, phone calls, and text-based interfaces such as live transcripts.

Conformance documentation

Institutions evaluating InStage can request our current accessibility conformance documentation (VPAT/ACR) as part of procurement. It describes, criterion by criterion, where the platform fully supports, partially supports, or does not yet support WCAG 2.1 AA, and is updated as the product evolves.

To request it, email hello@instage.io with the subject line “Accessibility documentation request.”

Known limitations

No product is finished on accessibility, and we would rather be specific than silent. Some areas of the platform — including certain color-contrast combinations and complex interactive views — do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. These are documented in our conformance report along with available workarounds, and they inform our development roadmap.

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on this website or in the InStage platform, we want to know about it. Email hello@instage.io and describe what you were trying to do, the page or feature involved, and the assistive technology you were using, if any. We aim to respond within five business days.
